It is a must in Testaccio where the staff make you feel like at home. The food is excellent, I was a little insecure about eating entrails but as a part of typical Roman cuisine I went for it. I would highly recommend their tongue, a delicatessen.

This was very near our rental when visiting Rome. It seems to be a popular neighborhood family restaurant. We ate outside, were well taken care of by our waiter (despite us not speaking Italian and him not speaking English), and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The chicken cacciatore was really tasty!

Wow. The abachio dishes have absolutly the WOW effect. Aske the wauter for a the wine to pair with it. It was good. Loved the place. Was awesome

Had an excellent lunch today. Shared a romantic style artichoke, anchovies dressed vegetable and then cacio e Pepe (Best I’ve had in Italy) and Rigatoni Arrabbiata … loved it!

The food was fantastic, all the way down to the steak. Fantastic vino, spritz, and service! This family owned restaurant took my family right in. When on a Thursday night, no other restaurant had available seating, they took us right in and made us feel right at home. Please take a visit!

We tried the carbonara, the amatriciana, ad the lamb (abbacchio), and everything was incredible! I highly recommend the carbonara as it was one of the best carbonara I have ever had!

Classic Roman dishes (no pizza!) with excellent service, superb wine selection and in-house sommelier. Try the carciofi alla romana (artichokes), abbacchio al forno (roast lamb), pollo di cacciatore (rustic chicken), or polpette (meatballs). Conveniently located in Testaccio and a favourite of locals.

The Amatriciana pasta and the Roasted veal were also very delicious. Nice service and pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. The restaurant was full, but we still got our food quickly.
